The premiere Childvision World of Hope Gala was a RESOUNDING SUCCESS! We are ecstatic to report that WE MET OUR GOAL of raising over $100,000 through our Gala efforts, from a combination of corporate sponsorships, advertisements, Gala registrations, income the night of the Gala (including live/silent auction, Keys for Hope, and Greeting Card purchases), and general monetary donations!

In addition, in-kind donations were in excess of $80,000! Although in-kind donations do not count as income/actual dollars raised, these in-kind donations saved FTIA tremendously in expenses as well as allowed Childvision to present a memorable, professional, top notch event!

We are truly honored by this overwhelming demonstration of support!

Because Families Thru International Adoption (FTIA) underwrites all of Childvision's expenses (including all Gala expenses), 100% -- every penny -- of the funds raised through the Gala will be directly utilized to support those older children who are left behind and will never be adopted. The beneficiary for this year's World of Hope Gala is Kids First Vietnam and funds will be utilized toward the completion of a dormitory in the Kids First Vietnam village.

We are extremely grateful to everyone who gave so graciously in support of our World of Hope Gala in such a variety of ways. This effort would not have been possible without the generosity, expertise, dedication, and efforts of so many people. OUR MOST GENUINE THANKS TO YOU ALL for your overwhelming support. Please know that we have just begun --- we will soon be announcing the official date for our 2008 World of Hope Gala!
